I haven’t had much time for blogging lately – I have been out with real estate clients almost every day for the past several weeks – either looking at property and homes for sale, making offers and negotiating contracts on homes for sale, helping my sellers get their home sold….or just plain running around picking up resale documents, delivering contracts, and taking pictures! It’s been very busy, and for that I am grateful.
This past Saturday, I had a morning closing (sold the most adorable little house in Masthope!) but the rest of the day was set aside for my family – they haven’t seen much of me since sometime in January, I think!
Every year our Boy Scout son Jared looks forward to the Pine Derby. He and Glenn, my extremely talented and 0h-so–hot hubby, figure out a design for the car and work on it together.
This year, I think Glenn outdid himself, fashioning an excellent replica of the Mach 5. Keep your Dale Earnhart Jr’s – give me Speed Racer any time!
There were lots of creative cars in the race – my favorites, aside from the Mach 5 of course, included the super-fast skateboard, the bubbly bathtub, and the giggle-inducing Spongebob car.
I got caught up in the cake auction. Luckily for everyone there, I did NOT bake a cake but desperately wanted the figure 8 racetrack cake. I didn’t win but did my part by helping drive up the price! Ha ha!!!
Love Scouts – Love Pine Derbys – Loved the day with the family. Click the picture below to see the highlights of Pack 229′s Pine Derby 2009!
